Restaurant & Retail

The canvas from which a retail project initiates is typically a “box” and often similar to the “box” next door. What makes these projects successful is the involvement of the client and their communication with the design team. The flow and function of retail space is critical to daily revenue generation, and design must reflect the needs for flow and function. Integrating with clients to understand operations, the space leaves its past behind as a “box” and becomes a shop, the new livelihood for our client.

Sole Sports // 2,100 SF // Gilbert, AZ

Partnering with Three Dots Design, a unique retail scientist consultant, this first-generation shell space was transformed into Sole Sports’ 4th location in the Valley. Custom branding and displays were implemented throughout the retail footprint accentuating storefront windows and high ceilings.

WeWhiten // 1,365 SF // Tempe, AZ

As the second location for this franchisee, we met this clients budget by utilizing several existing elements found in their second-generation lease space. Their Arizona locations prove to be the most revenue-generating locations of the franchises 31 stores across the country, a testament to matching each location’s need for function with the corporate franchise design requirements.

On the boards…

Zzeeks Pizza // 3,700 SF // Maricopa, AZ

Adding a sixth location to the Valley, Zzeeks Pizza’s newest location is a first-generation buildout featuring a full commercial kitchen with both carry-out and dine-in services. Unique to the other restaurants, this is the first development for the Zzeek’s Team with the restaurant serving as the anchor tenant in a three-suite building.
