As the second location for AZ Center for Hand & Shoulder Surgery, the client’s visions and project goals were clear from the onset. To be cost effective, design utilized as much existing infrastructure and maintained the existing layout. Balancing the project goals, some modifications were made to accommodate the required program without minimizing the brand elements. The existing built space was fully utilized with only 5% of the existing walls needing to be removed for a physical therapy suite. The second-generation medical office featured a functional, welcoming layout with fresh finishes matching the company’s vibrant blue color.

AZ Pulmonary Specialists // 14,910 SF // Scottsdale, AZ

Merging two separate locations into one, the new AZ Pulmonary Specialists integrates many unique factors. At completion, the space for the combined locations will have more exam rooms than either of the separate centers previously had, allowing for more physicians, staff, front desk, and support spaces. One of the most rewarding components of a relocation project is helping a team of medical experts improve on challenges in their existing space. We were able to combat current struggles, gain an exponential amount of space, as well as fall within budget - a true win-win for all, including patients.
