Listen.
We pride ourselves on listening to our client. A client has a vision and it is our job to bring it to life. Unless we listen, we can miss a critical element or energy that is required to make the result successful. We have the architectural knowledge and experience; however, no one knows their business better than themselves. We must listen to their goals, objectives and ask them what keeps them up at night - this is the key to a true collaboration effort.
Evaluate.
Once we have all of the pieces and parts, evaluating is critical to a successful process. This is where time needs to be spent overlaying the client’s program with any and all parameters including a shell building, the extent and critical adjacency of a leased suite and/or a site’s easements and setbacks. Rushing too quickly or skipping this evaluation period limits a design team from attaining the critical needs and analysis required to complete the project.
Interpret.
By now we have collected the vision and critical data from the client, understand the extents of the project as well as have our design team established. It is now time to critically investigate all external factors such as codes & regulations, building standards as well as all jurisdiction requirements and interpret how they might affect the success of the project. Often, there is a layering of the variety of factors and requires a deeper understanding of the relationships of each.
Implement.
This is the part of the process where our clients can breathe - we’ve got you. We have diligently gathered all the information during the steps above. We have listened intently, evaluated all the pieces and parts and interpreted what we know, finding out what we don’t. Implementing our entire design team’s expertise we now take the time necessary from start to finish to incorporate every piece of the puzzle, this is when it’s time to take flight and soar!!
